The passing of Rick Bronek

It is with a heavy heart that I bring this news. I have been asked by Peter Bronek and Kathy Brand to share information with you all regarding the passing of a very special friend, father, brother, uncle and husband, Rick Bronek who passed away yesterday.
rickBronek2I had known Rick since the 4th grade and some of you, even longer. I knew him to be generous, kind and loving to all that he touched in this life. His smile and laughter will be missed and his passing will leave a hole in many hearts yet I’m confident that Heaven will be a better place with him in it. Please say a prayer for the Bronek family as they travel through this sorrowful time.RickBronek1Funeral services have yet to be determined as the family is still sorting through many things at this time. I will pass along information as soon as I hear. For now, please know that the family appreciates the support and prayers from you all.

Lastly, I believe that this is an opportunity for us to come together once again and show the strength and bond between the graduates and families of the class of 1982 and Alumni of Whitefish Bay High School. The ’82 Project was founded with the premise of assisting a classmate or family that was in need….. this is most certainly one of those times.

If you choose to make a donation, it will be paired with others and distributed (with the names of those that donated) to Mary Ellen and their three children as they continue their path without him on this earth, but with him in their hearts. If you’d rather just leave a note or fond memory, please do so. Notes and stories will be sent to his family as well.

Thanks for your support and God Bless.
